The cooperation between Shabka and the 1989 Generation Initiative is now in full swing!
Shabka, Austria’s youngest Think Tank project at the nexus of conflict & peace analysis, and the 1989 Generation Initiative are working together on a event in the Talking Europe serie!
At the Bruno Kreisky Forum for International Dialogue in Vienna, on 18/06/2018, the event Talking Europe – Austria’s regional role will get live!
Predrag Jurekovic, Stephanie Fenkart, Dieter Segert, Velina Tchakarova, Johann Wolfschwenger, Johann Wolfschwenger are only some of the experts who will discuss with young people from Austria and Belgium the impact that Austria has on its regional neighbours in terms of security and economy.
Can we talk about a bridge-function between Easter and Western Europe? How does Austria’s engagement impact the situation on the Western Balkans and how does this influence the EU enlargement strategy?
These are only some of the issues that will be tackled during the event that will be closed by a public panel discussion.
